What is a Dry Lease? FAQs on Dry Leasing

Dry Lease N242PG

What is a Dry Lease?

Dry Leasing is NOT aircraft charter.

Dry Leasing is an arrangement whereby an aircraft is leased to a lessee without crew (i.e., no pilot in command, second in command, flight attendant, etc.) and the lessee assumes and exercises operational control of the aircraft. This will be thoroughly reviewed once a request for more information has been submitted.

What are the ancillary expenses the lessee is responsible for?

The Lessee is responsible for hiring their own pilot (s). Often this is a qualified pilot who is available for hire under a daily contract arrangement. The lessee is also directly responsible to acquire and pay for all fuel required, as well as, but not limited to all landing fees, facility fees, security fees, ground operational support etc… during the rental period.

Why would I consider the Page Aviation Dry Lease Program?

The Page Aviation Dry Lease Program allows you to have greater flexibility of your schedule and the ability to manage costs more effectively. The Cessna Citation M2 in the program is nearly new and is meticulously maintained. Operational reliability since new has been 100%.

How do I schedule a dry lease period?

The lessee will have access to Page Aviation’s electronic calendar/scheduling program that includes a mechanism whereby a request for aircraft access can be submitted and a reply issued asap so you can lock in availability.
